When we first met Shelby and Casey for their consultation, it was like hanging out with old friends. They are a super easy-going and fun to hang out with couple. Even though we had just met them, we could tell then that they are a great pair. After hearing Pastor Todd's heartfelt message during the ceremony and the thoughtful speeches sprinkled with a few shenanigans, it was obvious they are 100% perfect for each other. The two decided not to do a first look before the ceremony, so the first time they saw each other on wedding day was during the ceremony. The joy in Casey's face as he watched his bride walk down the aisle spoke louder than words ever could. Hearts = melted. Their wedding day was absolutely amazing. We loved all of their personal touches to the details and a few less conventional choices like having a popcorn bar and Rita's Italian Cream Ice for dessert instead of cake. Yes, we said cream ice instead of ice cream - it is different than ice cream and yes, it's delicious! After dinner, we were able to sneak off with the couple to take some sunset photos at the reception venue. We can't say enough about how great the Troy Burne Golf Course is and how amazing their event coordinator, Amber is. She was super accommodating and armed us with golf carts to help race the sunlight to take advantage of all the gorgeous portrait locations the course has to offer. The grounds were amazing, but the couple was just as stunning. We wish Shelby and Casey many happy years together and are thankful we were able to be a part of their day!
